What I’m Noticing

Despite a solid Body Battery score (79), subjective energy was low (4/10), and my heart rate climbed quickly even at an easy running pace. This mismatch suggests accumulated fatigue rather than a single bad night of sleep.

The dominant glucose signal came from food sequencing. A large BBQ lunch with desserts produced multiple glucose peaks, which likely “primed” a prolonged dinner response. Dinner appeared healthy (salmon, salad, rice, broccoli), but Greek Gods yogurt extended the glucose curve far longer than expected.

Key Insights

  • Perceived readiness (Body Battery) diverged from actual performance and energy.
  • Training load may be slightly ahead of recovery capacity right now.
  • Yogurt behaves like a hidden carb load in the evening context.

Supplements

  • Berberine 1200 mg
  • Cinnamon 4000 mg
  • Centrum Silver — 1 tablet
  • Vitamin D — 4000 IU
  • Creatine — 5 g

Tomorrow’s Experiment

Rest-day experiment: Take a full rest or active recovery day (walking + mobility only) and remove Greek Gods yogurt entirely. Observe heart rate response, subjective energy, and dinner glucose duration.

Tomorrow’s Binary Goals

  • ✔ No Greek Gods yogurt or dessert carbs
  • ✔ Rest day or active recovery only (no running)
  • ✔ Protein-forward lunch (plan ahead)
